For Research Use Only. Not For Human Consumption

GHK-Cu and BPC-157 Topical Foam: Research Overview

This page is a reference summary of the two compounds in RawBiotix’s topical research foam, why the foam format exists, and the research areas they appear in. It is written for laboratory personnel.

All RawBiotix compounds are supplied for laboratory research use only. Not for human consumption, therapeutic use, or diagnostic use.

What This Page Covers

RawBiotix supplies research compounds to laboratories, and this page is a technical reference written for that work. RawBiotix does not supply any compound for use in people or animals.

Most of what is written online about these two compounds in a foam is written by clinics offering a service. That is a different subject from this one. RawBiotix supplies material, not treatment, and this page describes the material.

The Two Compounds

This is a dual compound preparation. The two components are unrelated in structure and are studied in different areas, which is the reason they are presented together for comparative work.

GHK-Cu is a copper binding tripeptide, glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine, complexed with copper. Three amino acids and a bound copper ion. The copper is not an additive, it is part of what the molecule is, and it is the reason the material carries its characteristic blue colour.

BPC-157 is a synthetic pentadecapeptide, meaning a chain of fifteen amino acids. It is assembled synthetically and is not extracted from a biological source.

Neither is a drug product and neither is supplied here as one.

Why the Format Matters

Most research compounds are supplied as a lyophilized powder in a vial, to be prepared by the laboratory. This one is supplied already in a topical foam, and that is a deliberate difference rather than a convenience.

A foam is a delivery vehicle. Work involving compounds applied to a surface rather than introduced directly has to account for what the vehicle does: how the material is held, how it is released, and how much of it moves across a barrier layer at all. Supplying the compounds already in the vehicle means the vehicle is a constant across experiments rather than something each laboratory improvises.

That is why RawBiotix lists it under Topicals rather than alongside the vials.

Research Areas

RawBiotix supplies this material for in vitro and analytical work examining peptide delivery through dermal barrier systems, follicular biology models, and dermal matrix research. Copper peptide work in this area also touches signalling and matrix remodelling models.

RawBiotix makes no claim about what either compound does in any organism. Compounds are investigated for many reasons and investigation is not a result.

Format, Handling and Storage

Supplied as a topical research foam, for controlled laboratory handling and analytical work only.

Handle with standard laboratory personal protective equipment. Keep the container closed between uses and protect it from heat, direct light and cross contamination. Copper complexes are light sensitive and colour change over time is worth recording rather than ignoring.

RawBiotix does not publish preparation, quantity, or application information for any compound. That information would only be relevant to use on an organism, which is outside what these products are supplied for.

Sourcing and Verification

RawBiotix research compounds are sourced through U.S.-based supply and verified through independent analytical testing. Minimum 98% purity. Certificates of Analysis available upon request.

A word about purity figures across this industry. Almost every seller publishes a purity number and the numbers are almost always higher than ours. A number printed on a web page is a specification, not a measurement of the container that arrives at your bench. The only document that establishes what is in a given batch is a certificate of analysis for that batch. RawBiotix states a minimum it can stand behind and supplies the document on request. Ask any supplier for the certificate before comparing their number to ours.

Common Questions

Are these two compounds related? No. GHK-Cu is a copper bound tripeptide and BPC-157 is a synthetic fifteen amino acid peptide. They are presented together as a preparation, not because they are structurally similar.

Why is it blue? The colour comes from the bound copper in GHK-Cu.

Is this supplied for any medical purpose? No. RawBiotix supplies laboratory research material and nothing in this catalog is supplied for use on people or animals.

Does RawBiotix ship outside the United States? No. RawBiotix ships within the United States only.

Where can the product page be found? GHK-Cu/BPC-157 Hair Foam. Related single compound listings: GHK-Cu and BPC-157 10mg.
